IN ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT AND SWINDON
RELIABLE & PROFESSIONAL
We understand that leaving your dog is never easy, this is why Walks with Paws go out of our way to offer you a friendly, reliable & professional dog walking service in Swindon and Royal Wootton Bassett which gives you peace of mind when you are away at work, out for the day or on holiday.
Our dog walkers are fully insured and experienced. Have peace of mind knowing that your dog will be happy and safe with caring and experienced dog walkers whilst exploring acres of woodland, the countryside or the beautiful local parks and open spaces. Keep updated during the day by following us on social media where we post photos and messages about our walks or we can drop you a message after the walk if you'd prefer.
We recognise that each dog is different with individual needs and preferences. For this reason, we have a close working relationship with all of our clients to understand their dog and offer more than just another dog walking and day care service. We will only ever walk dogs in a small group, of a similar size or on an individual basis ensuring lots of attention to your four-legged friend. Dogs can be walked on or off the lead depending on your requirements.
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT OUR WALKS
Where do you walk the dogs?
During our group walks, we love to explore and discover new walking areas, these can be in acres of woodland, the countryside or some of the beautiful local parks.
On an individual walk, we will usually stay local and explore some of the hidden walks or nearby parks.
How many dogs do you walk at one time?
Our fully insured dog walkers are insured to walk a maximum of 6 dogs per person but we like walking small groups so the majority of walks will consist of 3-5 dogs.
Does my dog have to stay on lead?
No, if your dog has reliable recall with us and you have signed an off-lead consent form, we are more than happy to let your dog off the lead.
Will my dog need to attend walks on set days?
That's one of the things we do differently, we have never required a dog to be walked on set days. We understand that not everyone works the same days each week which is why you'll benefit from our online booking system.
What happens after a walk?
If it's been raining or your dog has got muddy, we will give them a quick rub down with a towel. We'll then top up their water and food bowls (if required) and send you an update or post some photos of their walk on our social media platforms.
How is my dog transported?
If your dog is on a group walk, they'll take a short trip in one of our fully kitted out vehicles which have been approved by DEFRA and the Animal Health Agency. All dogs will travel in their own individual secure crate. If your dog isn't crate trained or suffers from travel sickness, please do still get in touch and we may be able to offer an alternative.
Will my dog always have the same dog walker?
Each dog which we walk, will be matched with two dog walkers. Your dog will have a primary dog walker which enables your dog to form a strong bond with them but also benefit from having a secondary dog walker in the case of sickness or any emergency.
